Lilz: Tell em who you are, what you do & where you are from?
Blaire: This question is always so difficult for me... lol I'm Medina'Blaire, Billi Blaire or just simply Blaire, born and raised in NJ. The best way to describe myself is as an over all artist of all things. I have my hands in many things, songwriting and fashion styling is where my heart is.
Lilz: I know you do many things.. what would you say you love doing the most?
Blaire: I love creating music the most. It's a form of therapy for me as well as a way to touch lives. You know how we all need that breakthrough... I aim to touch souls.
Lilz: On the singing who would you want to collab with?
Blaire: Wow thats a very good question Lilly. There are so many awesome artists and songwriters out here. My heart is with Kanye West though. I would love to do a collaboration with him. He's totally out of this world and so am I! The possibilities would be endless.
Lilz: How old were you when you started singing?
Blaire: I know most singers say "I have been singing since a little girl in the church choir." But I have honestly been singing since I was 3yrs old. Thanks to my mom who surrounded me with music from the womb. I have sang in church choirs, school choirs, stage plays, etc..
Lilz: What do you think about the music out today?
Blaire: I think theres some really great music out here today but unfortunately we don't get to hear the majority of it. The music that's played on the radio is pretty much filled with gimmick.. acts.. not true artists. It's cool thought because thats what makes the industry go round. I would def like to hear more unheard and unsigned artists in 2012.
Lilz: If you can change anything in your life what would it be?
Blaire: If there was something I could change in life it would prob be the way I view certain people, places & things. I have learned to let go of some things but it took a minute to realize that holding on to hurt and past situations only makes you weak... it binds you and there's little room for growth.
Lilz: Where do you see yourself in 10yrs?
Blaire: In 10yrs I see myself totally making a difference in the world. Not just in the industry but overall. I would like to have traveled much of the world in 10yrs & have a much wiser outlook on life.
Lilz: How would you describe your style & music?
Blaire: My style is "Hiphopoprockn'B" in fashion & music... It's what I like to call JerZie Vintage. Look up the definition of Vintage...
Lilz: Would you say your past changed who you are today?
Blaire: I would say my past hasn't changed who I am today but it has def MADE who I have become..
Lilz: When are we going to hear more of blaire's music? What's the plans for 2012?
Blaire: You will def be hearing my music in 2012... is the year that my reign begins... while the world waits for the "end" to come... I will just be lighting the torch & wearing the crown.
Lilz: What would you say is the best album ever?
Blaire: The best album ever... hmmmm it's difficult for me to name 1 album... but I would have to say any album from Michael Jackson. He def paved that way and continues to live through his music and legacy.
