Lilz: El, tell em where your from? What do you do?
El: I'm from Jersey City, I represent 201. New Jersey. I am the CEO/Founder of the Murda Mamis Movement, the most powerful collective of women in hip hop.
Lilz: How did Murda Mami's come about? When did it start? What do you guys
do? Who started this movement?
El: I started the movement in 2002. We have Murda Mamis who do alot of different things, we have radio personalities, djs, models, business women, bikers etc. We have Murda Mamis Radio, The Murda Mamis Motorcycle Crew, The Murda Mamis Models etc. Murda Mamis Everything that is my motto.
Lilz: How do you feel about the music out today?
El: I think the music industry has definitelu changed but there is alot of good music out there, I def support a whole lot of new artist and I appreciate the hustle and grind I see out there.
Lilz: What do you love doing for yourself on a day when you are free?
El: I love getting pampered. Hair, nails, toes, eyebrows, love staying salon
fresh. I also enjoy going to the movies and kicking it with my friends and loved ones.
Lilz: Would you have chosen to do anything else in your life?
El: thankfully no, i'm happy with the path I choose in life and I am blessed to be doing what I truly love, and being great at it.
Lilz: Where do you see yourself in 10yrs?
El: Taking over the world and everything in it.
Lilz: Who do you think is the best artist in NJ?
El: Theres alot of dope artist in NJ too many to name. I support good music and I am proud of my state, we have alot of heat coming from the Garden State.
Lilz: What's the best album ever?
El:For me would have to be Jay Z's Reasonable Doubt & Jeezy's Thug Motivation 101, thats my motivational music right there.
Lilz: Who have you worked with & who would you like to work with?
El: I have basically worked with everyone in the game from Kanye to Swizz Beatz to Remy Martin. I am blessed to have worked with some of the hottest artist in the game. I def would love to work with Jay Z.
