Interview with Harlem's own Young Truth. .

Lilz: Tell em who you are & what you do? Where are you from?

Young Truth: I'm Hip-Hop artist, song writer, producer, and all around good guy who goes by the name of Young Truth. I'm from Harlem, NY

Lilz: How old were you when you started rapping?

Young Truth: When I started rapping I was 14yrs old but didn't record my first song until I was 18. I actually started taking my career seriously in 2009

Lilz: Who have you worked with? Who would you like to work with?

Young Truth: To name a few I've worked with Ron Browz during the period when he was signed to Universal Motown. I also worked with a amazing songwriter by the name of Shy Boogs. He worked on projects with artist like Bow Wow, Omarion, DMX, and Rico Love. I want to work with Swizz Beatz he's a dope producer.

Lilz: How do you feel about the music out today?

Young Truth: Music today is definitely not the same but it's still good. I'm very open minded so I'm exposed to many genres. I do believe today's music is more about the Business rather than the art of music.

Lilz: Who do you feel is the best artist in NY?

Young Truth: Of course I'm a say me, not being bias but I feel I can bring something not only to Hip-Hop but to music as a whole.

Lilz: Where do you see yourself in 10yrs?

Young Truth: In 10 years I see myself as a successful rapper, producer, and engineer. Also, expanding beyond music and touching the base of the Business. I wouldn't mind running a label or management company. I can't be "rapper" forever you know?

Lilz: How would you describe your music?

Young Truth: I call my style motivational. Other than the upbeat records I like to touch topics on how it's like in uban society. I can't ignore what goes on here. Of course we like to party but so much other things go on and I mention those things in my music. I like to give the pros and cons of a situation and I do that in a lot of my songs

Lilz: What' s the best album ever?

Young Truth: This is a hard one but if I had a gun to my head I'd say Jay-Z Blueprint because he had the inspirational music. He had songs on there that spoke to me. "Never Change", "Heart of The City", and etc. It's like we shared the same story on that album.

Lilz: Any shout outs.

Young Truth: First in foremost shouts to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for waking me up to even have this interview. Big shout out to Lilly for putting this thing together and all my supporter that believe I got what it takes. Thank you.
