Lilz: Tell em who you are? Where your from? What you do?
Los Vegas: I go by the name of Los Vegas hailing from Durham, North Carolina aka the "Bull City" and I'm a hip-hop artist/businessman. Family Bizness is the brand, AFB is the team.
Lilz: How did you get your artist name?
Los Vegas: It started in high school, I use to jump in cyphers with the seniors. I always felt like I was better than the older guys so when I started freestyling, I stole all the shine from the older guys and I was only a freshman. So everyone started to call me "Spotlight". "Spotlight" reminded me of the lights in Vegas. My nickname was "Los" so I put that and "Spotlight" together and Los Vegas was born.
Lilz: When did you start rapping & what made you interested?
Los Vegas: I started at the age of 11. Artist like Biggie and Tupac really played a role of me wanting to really pursue this music. I love making music that influence and motivate a person to dance, get fly, make money, etc.
Lilz: Who did you work with? Who would you like to work with?
Los Vegas: I worked with several artist from my home town from 100 proof to Jozeemo. Kanye West would be a guy I would like to collab with, he's an extremely talented artist and musician.
Lilz: How would you describe yourself as a person?
Los Vegas: I would describe myself as a cool, smart, laid back guy who knows what he wants and not afraid to go for it no matter what the cost is.
Lilz: What are your beliefs about anything life in general?
Los Vegas: I believe nothing in life is given you have to take chances.
Lilz: How do you feel about the music out today?
Los Vegas: It's cool. I feel like hip-hop is still a growing genre and we are in the "puberty phrase" meaning there's alot of new talent and sounds coming from artist that is different from the 80's and 90's. Just like going through puberty, Artist have to adjust to these drastic changes. Artist that were used to making that one hit single and selling majors figures now have to make a hit album to do numbers. The internet plays a major role in the hip-hip society.
Lilz: Is there anything you love to do for yourself, other than music?
Los Vegas: Anything pertaining to art I enjoy.
