Toon: I'm Toon. Baltimore ,MD had me but put me up for adoption. Durham, NC adopted me. I'm here. I entertain !!!
Lilz: How did you get your rap name?
Toon: It is such a long story, but, long story short...... my old rap homies named me Jodie Toons back in like 10th grade (i know....lame huh???) so over the years it kinda shortened to Mr. Take Over Omit Nothing....... which sounds SOOOOOO MUCH COOLER!
Lilz: What made you start rapping?
Toon: Man, I started for the same reason any other ninja starts rapping............. GIRLS!!
I just so happens that I grew up and realized that i can get mi madre up outta the hood with this talent i be slinging around.
Lilz: How would you describe your style & music?
Toon: I wouldn't describe myself at all if i could help it....... It's much more legit if someone else can describe you just from seeing you live......... it's like a cosign kinda.
Lilz: How do you feel about the music out today?
Toon: It depends on what you mean by "out today"....... But I'm always looking for new artists, radio isn't always as "up on it" as they could be, so i look for other media outlets.
Lilz: What is one word you would describe yourself?
Toon: CHEEEEEAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Lilz: Where do you see yourself in 10yrs?
Toon: Happy, still grinding, and stress-free..... but most of all, my music WILL be paying my bills!
Lilz: Is there anything else you see yourself doing?
Toon: Dying (does that answer your question?)
I wouldn't die FOR this, but I would die WITHOUT this.
Lilz: Who is the best artist out now?
Toon: Can i plead the 5th on this one for now? No good businessman does free advertising for the competition! lol. If i HAVE to answer this question, I'd say Skrillex
