Exclusive interview with Bynoe from The Riot Squad..

The Riot Squad's Bynoe gives me an Exclusive interview.. Shout out to The Riot Squad, Squad UP !
Lilz: How old were you when you first started getting into music?

Bynoe: I was probably like 18 or 19yrs old.. I first started rapping seriously when I was 19, but I was always into music.

Lilz: Where did the name Bynoe come from?

Bynoe: Its actually my last name, everybody used to call my brother that. So, when they see me they say little Bynoe, that’s my last name my first name is Darryl, so it just stuck with me, they used to call my sister that too.

Lilz: What’s the day in the life of Bynoe like?

Bynoe: Wake up, check the blackberry that’s the first thing see what’s popping, go on twitter give an update, go check my email to see if I got some new beats in there, hit up http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LnJpb3RyZWdpbWUuY29t, work on some new music, play some video games nothing to major.

Lilz: How was it working with Stack Bundles?

Bynoe: It was like real different, and I’ve been around a lot of rap niggas.. but with him it was just like he would come in the room and just light the whole room up, his aura was over the top. I've known him since we was kids, he just had that with him that smile everyone liked him. So when we would be in the studio we would put a beat on he would start working his magic.

Lilz: How do you feel about Tha Riot Squad Movement?

Bynoe: Like we never had no co-sign from no body, not us, not Stack self contained unit all we had was each other. People just started recognizing the hard work we put into this. I see now nothing but the skys the limit for us,We are like what Dipset and G-Unit and what all these other crews used to be.

Lilz: How did you feel about Stack being on Byrdgang with Jim Jones?

Bynoe: See like the whole thing with Stack was with the Byrdgang situation, Jimmy was supposed to broker a deal for us, he was never signed to Byrdgang or anything he was just going to broker a deal for us. The type of dude Stack was he just started going in making music with them , and thats how the chemistry and connection build

Lilz: How do you feel about the music out today?

Bynoe: Its getting back to it, it changes around like we had the Bling bling era, then it went to the Diddy stuff, then it went to the Houston stage everybody was chopped and skrewed, then it went to Miami and then Atlanta, now its coming to New York hopefully we get to take it back to where it needs to be. I thought it was gonna be back to the gutta era when 50 came out.. then it opened up oppurtunities for dudes like MOP that make hard records and get radio plays, that’s when I was really into it in like 03, its going back to that.. its slightly changing I don’t know what they are gonna do now.

Lilz: How are you going to change it?

Bynoe: Dudes want that like old 95/96 hip hop that’s what we are trying to bring to the table, back then you had to be able to rap..u couldnt go record bullshit ,u had BIG,Nas,WU-TANG all these artist that was on they A game.

Lilz: How would you describe your image and music?

Bynoe: I’m just real and raw, I ain’t trying to sound like nobody im not trying to follow anybody..i rap under my real name its as pure as u gonna get it, I’m just trying to do my thing. I’m just regular nigga from the hood.

Lilz: What advice would you give other artists trying to come up?

Bynoe: Like you got to keep with it, they may not take you serious.. your girlfriend may not take you serious, a lot of people may not take you serious, even your closest friends. But you would be stupid to believe what other people say, cause it can happen to anybody.. like dudes didn’t take Jay-z serious, a lot of dudes in hip hop look at Diddy he was an intern, Kevin Liles he grew up from being an intern to running a multi-billion dollar a year industry Warner Brothers and Def Jam.. you just can’t fall into what other people say just keep working hard at it and when the time is right it happens for you.

Lilz: Who influenced you, who are your favorite artists?

Bynoe: Bob Marley, Prodigy from Mobb Deep.. When I used to listen to Mobb Deep back then I used to write down there music, when infamous dropped everything they talked about was going on in my hood, that kind of music excited me.. I can relate to their music, MOP & Biggie and Stack.

Lilz: Is there anyone you would want to work with?

Bynoe: I would want to work with Bone Thugs-n-harmony they had a distinctive sound to them I always like their music, I would love to work with MOP,Maroon 5,and Akon .. I think Mary J Blige is dope too.

I would like to thank The Riot Squad again.. They definetly have a strong movement going !
