Interview with Ryan Kendrick. .

Lilz: Tell the lovely people who you are & what you do and where are you from?

Ryan Kendrick: The name is Ryan Kendrick aka "TGC" which stands for The Golden Child, born and raised in Clearwater Florida.

Lilz: How did you get into singing & how old were you?

Ryan Kendrick: I first got into singing at a young age singing in the church chior,then graduated to doing solos that took a while because I was too shy to sing in front of anything except the mirror in the livin room

Lilz: What do you think about the music out today?

Ryan Kendrick: There are a lot of talented artists out there that I listen to some of my
favorite rnb game are the likes of Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Tank, just to name
a few but I'm a real soulful r&b singer at heart I feel like the game is
truley missing that early 90's soulful r&b and I definately would like to
have my hand in bringing that lost art back.

Lilz: Who have you worked with & who would you like to work with?

Ryan Kendrick: I have worked with many very talented producers, ManBeast Productions, Vinnie
Beatz, Coni Cone just to name a few.. worked with many talented artist as well
Rob Diesel, Young Joe, 2 Pistols, Ajay Cartel, Cristol, Jmel "Da
Honcho", FamouskidBrick, Black Boi and many more..no one in particular I would
like to work with I just want to make great music!!

Lilz: What are your plans for 2012?
Any albums? Are we gonna here more of you?

Ryan Kendrick: No album just yet just getting my material together,and perfecting my craft
for when the time comes i will be more then ready but i do have a single out
right now titled "Fool Wit It" featuring Famouskid Brick so be on the look
out for that! and many many more big things to come,have a few things in the
works im looking forward to! But in the mean time just staying humble and
looking to move forward.

Lilz: Where do you see yourself in 10yrs?

Ryan Kendrick: An established artist,doing what i love to do and thats sing,perform,and
make people smile,dance,cry with my music! When its all said and done i hope
to be named among the greats to step behind a mic or grace a performance
staqge

Lilz: How would you describe your style & music?

Ryan Kendrick: Whatever you want it to be,i dont have a particuar style im blessed to be
able to do a little of everything but i prefer r&b i enjoy writing good old
fashioned love songs and "baby makin music."

Lilz: Who is the best artist in your area other then yourself?

Ryan Kendrick: Wow,thats a tough one theres so many..Tom G, Suntin
Xtra, Prophit, Shawty, Famouskid Brick, Black Boi, Cristol, Ajay Cartel, Rob
Diesel, Mr Bleez sheesh i could go on for days shout out to my city 727 and
everybody in the 813 making moves!

Lilz: What do you think is the best album ever?

Ryan Kendrick: Best Album ever,thats almost an unfair question! theres so many great
albums for so many diffferent reasons but if i had to choose i would say
Michael Jackson-Thriller 110 million copies worldwide,you cant argue with
that.

Lilz: What kind of advice would you give to kids that want to sing & be an
artist?

Ryan Kendrick: if its your dream follow it and see it all the way through and dont listen
to anyone who tells you othewise,to be in this business you definately have
to have tough skin,good work ethic and a by any means necessary attitude its
definitely a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes but the rewards are most definitely worth it to see your dream come true.
